The starting point
The software publisher found almost all its customers at two trade shows a year. The rest of the year, its sales team followed up with the same contacts.
Campaigns launched
We find them in case studies published by competitors and in job postings that mention their software. Without naming it, we show what the software company changed in a warehouse of the same size.
We find them in building permits, local press, and warehouse manager job postings. We ask the logistics director for 15 minutes to discuss launch prep, and we tell them what’s gone wrong in other openings.
What made the difference
- A logistics director already using software knows its limits: they compare two tools, they don’t need to learn the basics.
- A warehouse under construction has an opening date: the tool choice can’t wait, and the director has no software to defend yet.
